Our Story
Caywood Transportation LLC is a family owned transportation and support services company founded on decades of real-world experience and commitment in doing a job the right way. With more than 30 years of over-the-road driving experience, founder Greg Caywood understands firsthand what it takes to move freight safely: With precise efficiency as a professional. Greg and his wife April established Caywood Transportation LLC in 2020 when the decision was made to purchase their first truck.
In 2023 the company shifted focus to the wind energy industry. Greg began hauling super loads -specifically, wind towers--for Ace Doran Hauling & Rigging. Caywood Transportation then recognized a critical need within the industry: dependable, well- equipped, and highly trained pilot car services that take safety and responsibility seriously.
